A ftE$OLUTICN RELATING TO SANITARY SEWER
IMPRGVEMIlJT N0. 1, VILLAGE PROTECT N0. 180,
ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT =-- --
BE TT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Richfield, Hennepin
County, Minnesota, as follows s ='~~
1. That it is hereby determined that the bid of Industrial Construction Co ~~
a partnership consisting of the Wigi~ar Corporation, a corporation organized under `:
the laws of the State of Virginia, ~ and ~ Kamara Incorporated, a corporation organized
under the laws of the State of ~3:rginia, and doing buisness at 3050 - lath Avenue South,.;. '
1"6.nneapolis, 1~i.nnesota, is .the lowest bid by a responsible bidder on Village Project
No. 180, • the' said project being a part of Sanitary fewer Improvement No. 1.

2.• That it is hereby determined necessary and eXpedient to the public health, . ``r;
convenience, and general welfare that said Project No: 180 be constructed, anal :that ~`

3; :That the bid. of said Industrial Construction Co. for the construc-k~i.on of
said,pro~ect on a lump sum price basis for the sum of ~157,1a.].5.00 is hereby :accepted. `~

Village of Richfield dated July 27, 1953. be given C1erk!s-file No. C-819, that said
proposed contract for the construction of said Project No. 180 is hereby approved and ~s"
adopted; and that the Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to execute
said contract for and_on behalf of the Village of Richfield, and the Village Clerk is: ',~e
authorized and directed to` affix the Village seal thereto. _ '~'
5. That payments to be made under the terms of said contract shall be J'~±~`•
.charged against the Sanitary Sewer Improvement No. 1 .construct3.on fund. `~3;.
6. That the corporate surety public contractors s bmd in the sum of $158,E~a0 k
which accompanies .said contract and on which American Casualty Company of Reading' ~'
Pennsylvania, a Pennsylvania corporation, appears as surety, is hereby accepted and --
approved,

documenas to the unsuccessful bidders upon the execution of said contract by the
