RESOLUTION RELATING TOICCEPTING BID OIL ORFEI &
MARIAN FOR RAISING MANHOLE RINGS AND COVERS AND
DESIGNATING SOURCES OF FUNDS.
BE TT RESOLVED by the Village"Council of the Vii-.lags of. Riaffifield,
- Hennepin County, Minnest~ta, as follows:
1. That it is hereby determined that the bid- of Galliano O.rfei and
Ulderico Mariana, eo-partners, doing business under the name of Orfea and
Mariana at 1156 Homer Street, St.Paul, Minnesota is the lowest bid by a
responsible bidder on .Village Project # 153, raising manhole rings and covers.
2. That it is hereby determined necessary and expedient to the public
health, convenience and general welfare that said project #153 be ~complished
and that the same shall be accomplished.
3. That the bid of said Orfe3 and Mariana for said project for the
sum of X3,953.40 is hereby accepted. -
/~. That the proposed contract between said Orfei ~C Mariana and-the
Village of Richfield dated July 27, 1953, for said Pro jest # 153 is hereby
approved and adopted and that the Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized 8e
directed to execute said contract on behalf of the Village of Richfield, and
the Village Clerk is authorized and directed to affix the village seal thereto.
~ The payments to be made under the terms of said contract shall be charged as
follows
1950 .Improvement Gonstruction Fund
Storm Sewer Districts A,E,Q,D,D-3 and J ~2,31.,~..1b
Storm Sewer District # 1 -Sinking Fund 1.20

b. That the corporate suxety public contraotor's bond in the amount of
X3,100.00 which accompanies said contract and on which the Aetna Casualty and

Surety Company of Hartford, Connecticut, a Connecticut corporation appears as

7. That the Clerk is authorized and directed to return the security
documents to the unsuccessful bidders upon the execution of said contract by.
the said Orfei and Mariani.~ .
Passed this 27th day of July 1953 by the Village Council.
