RES®LUTION NO. 15~..
WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary and in the best public interest to acquire
right of way fora public street on Thomas Avenue South from 76th Street to
7Sth Street, and,
WHEREAS, The Merritt Compa~r has agreed to pay all awards, damages and costa
in connection with the acquisition of said right of way.
NOW THEREFORE, Be it resolved by The Council of the Village of Richfield
That the Mayor , Manager, Attorney and Clerk be, and they hereby are
authorized and directed to take any and all steps necessary to a equine by
comdemnation, or otherwise, the land necessary for a public right of way on
Thomas Avenu® South from 76th Street to 78th Street. Such authorization and
direction shall be contingent upon the posting of a bond by the Merrit Company
of a sufficient amount to insure payment of all awards, damages and costs in
connection with the acquisition of said right of way.
