1953-147r~~~ RFS OLUTI e71V N 0. 147. RESOLUTI(~l ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT ON STREET 11N'kROVEM~TT, VILLAGE PROJECTS NOS.. 203, 205, 207 and 210. ' BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village of Richfield as follows: 1. That it is hereby determined that the Bid of Clement F. Sculley Construction Company, a Minnesota. Corporation, is the lowest bid by a :~.e-epos=,ible bidder of Village Projects Nos. 203, 205, • 207 ar~d 210. 2. .That it is hereby determined to be necessary and expedient to the public convenience and general welfare that said Village Projects No. 203, 205, 207 and 210 be constructed, and that the same shall .be constructed. 3. That tkie said bid of Clement F. Sculley ®onstructi.on Company, for the construction of said projects on a unit price basis, according to the unit prices stated ixi .said bid, totaling X14,926.80 on the basis of the esti~atsd quantities of work to be pe rformed, is hereby accepted. 4, That the proposed contract between said Clement F. Sculley Construction Company and the Village of Richfield, dated May 11, 1953~be given Clerk's File No. C- :That said proposed con tract for the cons traction of said projects Nos 203, 205,207 anal 210 is hereby approved and adopted; and that the Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to execute said contract for and on behalf of the Village of Richfield, and the village clerk is authorized and directed to affix the village seal thereto. 5. That payments to be made udder the terms of said contract sha71 be charged against the Sanitary Sewer Fund. 6. That the corporate surety public contrac-tor's bond in the sum of $15, 000.00 which accompanied said contract, and on which :Saint Paul-Mercury Indemnity Company appears as surety, is hereby accepted and approved. 7.
