RES®TtiUTION RELATING TO USE OF PUBLIC PROPERTY
FOR INSTALLATION 4F PUBLIC TELEPHONE, ELECTRIC,
C~,S OR ' ®THER UTILITIES .
BE TT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Richfield,
Hennepin County, T'~inr~.es o ta, as follows
1. That where any public stxeet, alley. or other public property
is now or hereaf ter used as a location for telephone, electric,
gas or other'utility installations not owned by the Village, such
installations shall be located or maintained on such propex+ty upon.:
the condition. that if the Village shall encounter such installations
in the making of any public improvement, the owner of such installations
shall }~ responsible for any removal, relocation, temporary service,
' disconnection, reconnection or other action rendered necessary to the ;.,.
.making of such public improvement, and that if such o~mer shall fail
to take such action after notice to do so, the Village may do sa and
may recover the cost thereof from such owner.
2. That the Village l+~anager shall be and is hereby authorized to take
such steps as may be necessary from time to time to effect the
.purposes of this resolution.
