TntHEREA.S, The Village of Richfield and the Village of Edina have
heretofore determined that it is necessary to construct a joint
sanitary sewer system, and. .
Ti~REAS, pursuant to advertising, bids were received on said joint
sanitary sewer system on February 2, 7.953, and
T~REAS, the firm. of Phelps-Drake Company, inc. was determined to be
the- lowest responsible bidder by submission of their bid. in the anount
of $603, 7.0.75. "
NOWT, TiEREFORE, BE IT R~OLVED by the Council of the Village of Richfield
the the bid of Phelps-Drake Co. inc. i3or• the construction of the Joint
sanitary sewer system for the Village of Richfield and the Village of Edina,
known as Village Project # 1751 be and the same hereby' is accepted and the
Mayor and Manager are authorized to do all things necessary for the
execution of the contract and that the bond of Phelps-Drake Co., Inc., in the
sum of 0l~, 000.00 be and i t is hereby accepted and the contract and bond
be assigned Clerk's file C 515. "
