RESOLUTI~T AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
CONTRACT ~ TH ORFEI AND NIARIANS ON
VILZAGE PRGJECT # 17~..
TrdHEREAS, the Village of Richfield and the Village of Edina have
heretofore determined that it is necessary to construct a point sanitary
sewer system, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to advertising, bids were received on said point
sanitary sewer system on February 2, 1953, and
WHEREAS, the firm of Orfei and Mariam was determined to be the lowest
responsible bidder by submission of their bid in the amount of X775,997.49.
o1Va~nT, THEREE'ORE, BE IT RES®LVED by the Council of the Village of Richfield
.that the bid of Orfei and Mariam for the construction of the 3oixat sanitary
sewer for the Village of Richfield and the Village of Edina, known as
Village Project # 174, be and the same hereby is accepted and the Mayor
and the Manager are authorized to cb all things necessary for the execution
of the contract, and that the bond of Orfei~ and Mariam in the sum of
X776,000.00 be and it is hereby accepted and the contract and band be
assigned clerks file C-476.
