RESOLUTION NO. 108
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION OF
CERTAIN PRaPERTIES BY CONDEMNATION OR OTHERWISE
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village of Richfield, Hennepin
County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That it is hereby determined to be necessary and expedient to the public
health, convenience and ,general welfare to acquire for the Village of Richfield the
lots and parcels of land in the Village of Richfield, County of Hennepin, State of
Minnesota hereinafter described for street and utility purposes, and the Mayor,
Manager, Attorney, Finance Officer end officers and employees of this village are
hereby authorized and directed to proceed with the acquisition tk~ereof, to-irl.t:
The South ~`hirty (30) feet of Lot Six (b), Richfield Gardens.
The North Thirty (30) feet of the West One-half (W~) of Lot Eleven (11),
Richfield Gardens.
The North Thirty (30) feet of the West One-half {W2) of Lot Twelve (12), .
Richfield Gardens.
Lots One (1) and Sixteen (lb), Block One (1), Iverson's Second Addition.
Lots One (1) and Sixteen (16)b Block Six (b), Iverson's Second Addition.
Lots Six (b) and Severi (7), Block Three (3), Iverson's Third .Addition.
Lots One (1) and Two (2)~ Block Fifteen (15), New Ford Town .Addition.
That part of the West One-half (W2) of the Southwest Quarter (SW4) of. Section
Twenty-six (26), Township Twenty-eight (2$), Range Twenty-four (2!t) described as
follows: Commencing at the Southeast corner of Lot Five (5), Block Two (2), "Coffman's
Addition";.thence South in a straight line to the Northeast corner of Lot One (1),
Block Two (2)~ •Portland Avenue ~icres; thence East to the Northwest corner of Lot
Two (2), Block One (1), Portland ~Lvenue .Acres• thence North in a straight line to the
Southwest corner of Lot Six (b), Block One (l~, "Coffman~s Addition"; thence West
to the po~.nt of beginning:
2. That the Village attorney shall proceed with the acquisition of said
property by eminent domain proceedings unless acquired by dedication or purchase prior to
the completion of said proceedings.
