RESOLUTION..NO. 107
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CERTAIN OFFERS
TO SELL LANDS
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Richfield,
Hennepin County Minnesota as follows;
1. That it is hereby determined to be necessary and expedient to the public
health, convenience and general welfare to acquire the lots hereinafter described
for street and utility purposes.
2. That it is hereby determined that the offer of Paul C. Krake and Dorothea
Krake to sell Lot 21~~ Block 19, New Ford Town for the sum of ~l~00.00 is a reasonable
offer and the same is hereby accepted.
3. That it is hereby determined that the offer of Merle S. Smith. to sell
Lots 1, 2, and 23, Block 19, New Ford Town for the sum of X600.00 is a reasonable
offer and the same is hereby accepted.
~.. That it is hereby determined that the price of X280.00 for Lots 23 and 21~,
Block 15' New Ford Town (said price being the price for which said lands are being
held for sale by the State of Minnesota) is a reasonable price; and that in the
event that either the Board of County Commissioners of Hennep~.n County or the
Commissioner of Taxation of the State of Minnesota shall be unwilling to convey said
lots to this village said lots shall be purchased by this village at said price.
5. That the Mayors Managers Finance Officers and Attorney are hereby
authorized and directed to take all steps necessary to effect the acquisition
of the lots hereinbefore mentioned in accordance with 'the terms of this resolution.
