RESOLUTC(~T CREATING FINANCE AN1)

BE I T RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Ville. ge of Rich-
field as folloaas :
1. That an F~gineering Committee and a Finance Committee be and are
hereby created pursuant to the provisions of Minnesota Statutes Annotated,
Section a:~].2.621, Subdivision 1, to exist until further order of this Council.
2. That the mayor and tiro trustees sha]1 be members of the ~gineer-
ing Committee, together with such other persons as may be appointed by the
Village Council.
3. That the mayor and the other two trustees shall be members of
the Finance Committee, together with such other persons as may be appointed
by the Village Council..
4. ghat appointments to the committees shall be made by the mayor,
subject to approval of the Council.
5. That until changed by further order of the Council, the Engi-
neering Committee sha11 meet regularly on the first Monday of each month
at 7:00 o'clock P.M. at the Village all and the Finance Committee shall
meet regularly on the third Monday of each month at said time and place.
- 6. That such committees shall investigate any subject referred to them
by the Village Council and advise and make recommendations to the Council
on matters of policy referred to them, but shall not exercise any village
administrat3.ve functions.
7. That the Village Cot~.cil may by motion provide that the village
manager refer corruQOn questions of policy to either committee, whichever is
appropriate, prior to the consideration of such question by the Council.
