WHERF~AS, pursuant to direction of the Village Covncil, the Village Clerk
and Village Engineer have prepared and filed a proposed assessment roll to
be used as a bads for assessing • the benefits to every assessable lot, piece
or parcel of land in the- Village abutting upon said streets, and
WHEREAS, said assessment roll was filed with the Village Clerk more
than 30 days prior to an assessment hearing and was open to public inspection
at all times, and
WHEREAS, a hearing on said proposed assessments has been duly called
and held
NOW THEREE'ORE BE I T RES(DLVED by the Village Council of the Village
of Richfield as follows:
1. That it is hereby found and determined that. cache and every lot,
piece or parcel of land improved by reason of the construction of said 1951
street irn~rrovements has been and is specially benefitted in the amotmt set
opposi. each such lot, piece or parcel of land in the proposed assessment ex-
cept as follows:
Property abutting upon the following named streets shall not be
assessed at this time for any improvement made upon such streets:

2. That the proposed assessment as changed herein is affirmed, adopted and
confirmed, and the sums fixed and named in said proposed assessment for each
of laid lots, pieces or parcels of land respectively anal said amount so set out
in said proposed assessment is hereby levied against .each of the said properties
therein described.
3. That said assessment shall be certified to by the Village Clerk and filed
in the office of the Clerk and shall be the assessment for said improvements except
the °improvemen is on the streets in Paragraph 1.
?~. :What the amounts assessed against each lot, piece or .parcel of land shall
bear interest watil paid at the rate of 5~ per annum.
5. That in those cases where the assessment against a lot, piece or parcel
of land is for an amount of ~ less than $30.00, the entire amount shall b e assessed
against such lot, piece or parcel so as to be made payable with taxes in the dear
1953; that in those cases where the assessment against a lot, piece or parcel of
land is for an amount of X30.00 or more' such amount shall be assessed against such
lot, piece or parcel so as to be payable with taxes ~ in tdlree equal annual install-
. ments in the years, 1953, 195. and 1955.

6, That the assessment roll for said assessment shall be certified to~'the '
County Auditor of Hennepin County on or before October 10, 1952.
