WHEREAS it appears° that the terms of members- of the Zoning and Planning Commission are in doubt, and the ability or. willingness of certain of its members tas~rve on said commission, or remain as residents of the Village is also in doubt, and that a number of said members have, at Council request, submitted their resignations, and: WHEREAS, this Council .desires to have the organization and membership of said commission claxifi~el~.~ as soon as possible. HOW THEREFORE BE IT 8ffiOLgED by t he villageCouncil of the° Villag® of~ Rich- f'3.eld as fo].ltaws s 1, -That the presently constituted zoning and planning, commission of the Vi1- lags o~ Richfield. be and is herby dissolved and the--terms of all present members of said commission. are hereby terminated.. 2. That a new zoning cornmi.ssion be and is hereby created. 3. That said comm3.ssiQn shall insist of seven members. ~ fit. That the terms of two members of said new commission shall expire on " December.31, 195; two on December 31, 1953 and three on December 31, 195t~. 5. That said new commission shall at its first meeting held hereafter, elect a chairman and a secretary for the balance of the calendar year of 1952; and that thereafter, it shall elect a chairman and secretary annually at its first meeting of each calendar year. 6. That the compensation of the chairman and secretary of said commission sha]1 be X10.00 per month for each, and that the compe~isataon for every other ncember of he comm~i.ssion sha11 be X5.00 per month. ~''`"'~ 7. That said commission shall, immediately after its organization, be author . ized and empowered to discharge all of the duties of the said Zoning and Planning Commission as provided by village ordinance. 8. That five members of said commission shall constiiute a quorum. Trustee Iverson seconded tae mot3.on for the adoption of the foregoing reso- lution. Upon roll call, all members of the Council voted in favor thereof. WHEREUAf~i, said Resolution was declared passed and adopted.
