Section 1. Scoff. This ordinance shall apply to all truildings and stlruetures here-
a~te""r' con tructed or altered in the Village of Richfield.

Section 2. General Requirements. No building or structure shall hereafter be

Section Permits. It shP11 be unlawful for any person, firm pr corporation to
cons~or alter any building or structure or to excavate or d~g any basement
without first obtaining and having a permit therefor from the Bui~.dis'ig Inspector.
~,ny person, firm or corporation violating this section of this ordinance shall be
guilty of a. misdemeanoi'•
Section 5. !=pplicat~.on for. Perm3.ts. b~henever any person or persons shall be
desirous of constructing or altering any building or structure the owner of such
building or structure ox his agent, shall make application to the Bu3,].ding In-
spector for a permit for such purpose, and shall furnish said Building Inspector
with the location, diatensions, purpose end the cost of the proposed Geuastruction
or alteration and with such further infar~mation relating thereto as said Inspector
