The Vi11.age Council of the Village of Richfield do ordain as follows:
That Sect3.on 6 of Ordinance Number 2.03 of the Village of Richfield entitled
"An ordinance for the Purpose of Promoting Health, Safety, Order, Convenience,
prosperity, and General Welfare by Regulating the Location, Side, Use, and Height
of Buildings and Lots, and tam Density of Population tai thin the Village of Richfield,
Hennepin County, ~'B.nnesota" originally passed the 15t~. day of July 19!}].,as
subsequently amended, is amended to read as follows:
" SECTION 6.
USE REGULATI QVS FOR CON1N[ERCIAT. DISTRICT
In the Commercial D3.strict, unless otherwise provided in this ordinance,
no building or land shall be used and no building shall hereafter be erected or
altered except for one or more of the following uses, to-wit:
A; All uses perrrdtted in .Residential and Open ~velopment Oi.st~.cts'.
B. Retail stores and shops conducting business entirely within a building.
C. Theaters, financial ins titaitions, professional offices.
D. Automobile stations for sale of gasoline, oil. and accessories.
E. Public Garages.
F. Carpenter, furniture repairing, book binding, dressmat~.ng shops, shoe repair
shops, newspaper and otdzer printing es tabli.shmen~.s, electrical shops, metal working
tan smi.thing, plumbing, water, gas, and steam fitting- shops.
G. And the following uses, providing a Special Use Permit is first obtained as here-
inaf ter provided:
1. Tourist camps, taailer coach parks, and motels. .
2. Storing, parking or servicing of excavating, dirt hauling, road contacting
vy construction machinery or equipment.- ---

3. Other business uses which, in the opinion of the Village Council, are of the
same general character as the uses enumerated in this subsection and will not
be obnoxious or detrimental to the D1.stri.ct and area in which it i.s located."
