1952-19I9 AMENMENT M ORDINANCE NO. 2.03 AN ORDINANCE AkMDIMG THAT CERTAIN ORDINANCE NO. 2.03 OF THE VILLAGE OF RICHFIELD, PASSED THE 15th DAY OF JULY, 1941, AS SUBSEQUENTLY AMENDED, ENTITLED 1 %N ORDINANCE FGR THE PURPOSE OF PROMOTING HEALTH, " SAFETY, ORDER, CONVENIENCE, PROSPERITY AND GENERAL WELFARE BY REGULATING THE LOCATION, SIZE, USE AND HEIGHT OF BUILDINGS, THE ARRANGEKEMTS OF BUILDINGS AND LOTS AND THE DENSITY OF POPULATION WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF RICHFIELD, HENNEP7N COUNTY, MINNESOTA." The Village Council of the Village of Richfield do ordain as follows: That Section 3 of the above entitled ardinance be amended to read as follows: SECTION 3 EXTENT OF LAND WITHIN SAID DISTRICTS 1. The Residential District shall include all duly platted land in the Village of Richfield, except such platted land as is hereinafter specifically placed in the Commercial District. 2. The Open Development Distract shall include all unplatted land in the Village of Richfield, except such unplatted land as is hereinafter specifically placed in the Commercial *strict. 3. That area in the Village of Richfield within 7,75 feet of the center of the following named streets, and such other areas as are hereinafter more particularly described shall comprise the Commercial District, to -wit: (1). Penn Avenue from 62nd Street to a_ point 130 feet south of the center line of 68th Street, except that area East of Lots 6,7,8,9 and 10, Block Six, Fairwood Park Addition, and East of the center line of Penn Avenue between 67th Street and a point 1*30 feet south of the center line of said 68th Street. That area from 62nd Street to 66th Street extending to the center -line of Queen Avenue; one full block East and West of Penn Avenue from the center line of 73rd Street and Penn Avenue South to 78th Street. (2) Lyndale Avenue from 62nd Street to the center line of 67th Street and Lots 1 and 23, Block 3, Fairwood Shores, excluding therefrom Lots 6, 7, 8 and 9 in Block 3, Lyndale Shores Addition to Wood Lake; from the center line of Lyndale Avenue and 66th- Street a distance of 221.6 feet in a westerly direction, thence a distance of 352.6 feet north, -thence in an easterly direction to the center line of Lyndale Avenue, thence along Lyndale Avenue in a southerly direction to point of beginning; from a point beginning' at the center line of Lyndale Avenue and 66th Street, thence easterly to the . center line of Harriet Avenue, thence in a southerly direction a distance of 272.27 feet, thence-in a westerly direction to the center of Lyndale Avenue, thence in a northerly direction to the point of beginning; from the center line of 74th Street to the center line of 78th Street. (3) Nicollet Avenue from the center line of 65th Street to the center line of 66th Street, and Lots 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 of Block 9, Town's Edge - Addition. (4) Qedar Avenue and that area one block to the west and one block to the east thereof, from 62nd S tree t to 78th Street. (5) 24th Avenue from the center line of 66th Street to the center line of 67th S tree t and from the center line of 77th S tree t to 78th S tree t. (6) 28th Avenue from the center line of ' 65th S tree t to the center line of 66th Street. (7) 34th Avenue from the _center line of 62nd Street to the center line of 78th Street. t (8) 66th Street from the center line of Queen Avenue to the center line of Oliver Avenue; and froma point 210 feet west of Lyndale Avenue to a point 160 feet west of the center line of Grand Avenue and thence North on a line parallel with the center line of Grand Avenue to 65th S tree t; and from the center line of Nicollet Avenue ' to the center line of First Avenue, including Lots 100 11, and. 12, Goodspeed's First Plat; and from a point commencing at the southeast corner of the NEB of Section 27, Township 28, Range 24, and running in a northerly direction a distance of 200 feet, and commencing at the southeast corner of the NE41 of Section 27, Township 28, Range 24, and running-in a westerly direction a distance of 250 feet, said description Boeing part of the Northwest corner of 66th Street and Portland Avenue; and from the center line of Portland Avenue to the center line of Oakland Avenue northerly from the center line of 66th Street a distance of 360 feet; and from the center line of Fifth Avenue to the center line of Portland Avenue, sou- therly from the center line of 66th Street a distance of 279.38 feet, and from the center line of portland Avenue to the center line of Oak- land Avenue southerly from the center line of 66th Street a distance of 255.22 feet, -and from the center line of the Minneapolis, Northfield and Southern Railroad right -of -way to the center line of Nicollet Avenue northerly from the center line of 66th Street to the center line of 65th S tree t; and from a point 1155 feet East of the center line of Port- land Avenue to the center line of Elliot Avenue and from Elliot Avenue 250 feet north and south of the center line thereof, to 34th Avenue.
