AN ORDINANCE AMBNDMBNT THAT CERTAIN ORDINANCE NO. 2.01 OF THE VILLAGE
OF RICHFIELD, MINNESOTA ENTITLED:
"AN ORDINANCB TO REGULATB THE CONSTRUCTION AND ALTERATION OP BUILDINGS
AND STRUCTURES WITHIN THE VILLAGE OP RICHFIELD POR THE PURPOSE OP PRO-
MOTING THE PUBLIC HEALTH, SAFETY, ORDER, CONVENIENCE, PROSPERITY AND
GENERAL WELFARE IN SAID VI~3LAGE AS AMENDED."'
The Village Council ~ the Village of Richfield do ordain a~ follows:
Section 4 of Ordinance No. 2.01 of this Village entitled "A~n Ordi-
nance to Regulate the Construction and Alteration of Buildings and
Structures within the Village of Richfield for the purpose of Promot-
ing the Public Health, Safety, Order, Convenience, Prosperity and
General Welfare in said Villages"' as amerided* is hereby amended to
read as follow:
Section 4. Permits. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or
corporation to construct or alter any building or structure or to ex-
cavate or dig any basement without first obtaining a having a permit
therefor from the Building Inspector. Any person, firm or corporation
violating this section of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
All permits shalt expire within one year after the date of issuance, un-
less permission is granted by the Village Council for an extension of the
permit. No such extension shall be granted by the Council except upon
good cause shown."
