The Pillage Council of the Village of Richfield do ordain: (1) That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 12.01 of the Village of Richfield entitled "An Ordinance to Hstablish a Position-Classification-Plan, a Compensa- tion Plan, a Merit System and a Basic Personnel Policy for the Village of Richfield, Minnesota," as passed February 26, 1951, as subsequently amended, is hereby amended by adding to said Section 2 the following paragraph: "3. The compensation of persons serving in the following named positions shall not be computed or.deter~ined pursuant to Sections 8 and 9 of this Ordinance: Laborer Public t~orks Maintenance Man Sewex Maintenance Man Maintenance Equipment Operator Maintenance Mechanic Bngineering Aide I Engineering Aide II Engineering Aide III Civil Bngineer I Civil Bngineer II Superintendent of Sewers and Street Foreman "As to such positions the Council shall fix the rate of compensation by resolution annually, after adoption of the annual budget, specifying the maximum compensa- tion for each such position and such other rates of lesser compensation as the council shall deem advisable." "(2) That Section 16 of~said Ordinance is hereby amended by adding the following provision: 'Authorized overtime work performed after January 1, 1956, by persons other than the Village Manager, Department and-Division heads and members of the Police and Pire Departments; shall be compensated for at one and one-half times their regular rate of pay."'
