AN ORDINANCE .REL~iTTNG TO THE
KEEPING OF FOWL :'

The Village Council of the Village of Richfi~ld,do ordain as follows:.
Section Z... No person owning or keeping chickens, ducks, geese or -other fowl shall
permit the same to run at large or enter upon the premises of another without per-
mission,. nor shall any such fowl•be kept, ..raised or permitted to go on any street,..
park, lake or public ponding area. ~ ~ ~ - ~- ~-~~~ ~ ~ '~ _
Section 2. Not more than three such fowl shall be kept or raised on any residence
proper yin this Village, except where and to the extent that the same are being law-
fully raised on the effective date of this ordinance.
Section. 3.,. No such fowl shall be kept ~or raised irisuch manner as to cause injury or
annoyance ao persons on other property in the vicinity by reason of noise, odor or filth.
Section 1~. Any such fowl at large in v~.olation of Section 1 hereof may be impounded by
t ell ge and, after being so impounded `for three days or more without 1~ing re-
claimed by the owner thereof, may be destroyed, or sold. The person reclaiming any
such impounded fowl shall pay the costs of impounding` and keeping the same.
Section.5.. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon
convcti:or:,~be punished by a fine of. not to exceed ~100,.or by imprisonment for not

made up of patenfis, plate matter and advertisements; has been cix-
culated in and near its said place of publication to the extent of at
least two hundred and forty (240) copies regularly delivered to pay-

office; and that there has been on file in; .the office of iahe County
Auditor of Hennepin County, Minnesota, the affidavit of a person
having knowledge of the facts, showing the name and location of
said newspaper and the existence of the conditions constituting its
qualifications as a legal newspaper.
