FLAMABLE MATERIALS UNDER, PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOL~,TION THEREOF~~, P1-SSED THE 12TH DI.Y OF JUNE, 1950 The Village Council of the Village of Richfield do ordain that Ordinance No. 11.0,5 of the Village of Richfield, entitled "An Ordinance Prohibiting the Burning of Rubbish and Combustible and Flamable Paterials Under, Providing a Penalty Thereof" passed the 12th day of June, 1950 is hereby amended to read as follows s. Section 1. No person, firm or corporation shall set or maintain any bonfire. within thi- s V llage, or knowingly furnish the materials for any such fire, or authorize any such fire to be set or maintained, except as hereinafter provided,. Section 2. The burning of uubbish, paper, leaves, or other combustible material wit afely constructed incinerator or burner located on private property and at least fifteen feet from any flamable material, building or structure shall be per- mitted; provided that no such burning shall be done between 6:00 A.M, and 12:00 noon, nor at any time when wind or weather conditions cause burning or charred particles or heavy smoke to blow directly onto ad3acent property. Section 3. No burning of leaves, grass, or other materials shall be done on any pub- lic street, right-of-way, or other public property. Section !~. Nothing contained in this ordinance shall amend or repeal any ordinance or i regulation of this Village relating to commercial incinerators.. Section 5. Any person, firm, or corporation violating any provision of this ordinance shahl, upon conviction thereof be punished by a fine of not to exceed one hundred dollars, or by imprisonment for not to exceed ninety days.
