1955-15BILL NO« 1955-15 AM13N-MENT TO ORDINANCE N0. 2.03 AN ORDINANCB AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 2.03, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE POR THE PURPOSE OF PROMOTING HEALTH, SAFETY, ORDER, CONVENIENCE,: PROSPERITY AND GENERAL WELPARE, BY REGUrA TING THB USE OF LAND, THE LOCATION~AND U5E OF BUILDINGS, THE ARRANGEMBNT OP BUILDINGS,._ON LOTS, AND THE DENSITY OP POPULA- TION IN THB VILLAGE OP RICHFIELD, HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA, PASSED THL 25TH DAY OP OCTOBER, 1954, A5 SUBSEQUENTLX AM'BNDED. The Village Council of the Village of Richfield do ordain as follows:. Section 16. Subsection b of Paragraph 1, Subparagraph a of Ordinance No. 2.03 of the Village of Richfield entitled, "An Ordinance for the Purpose of Promoting Health, Safety Order, Convenience, Prosperity and General t~el- fare, By Regulating the Use of Land, the Location and Use of Buildings, the Arrangement of Buildings on Lots, and thp,f~ensity of Population in the Village of Richfield, Hennepin County, Minnesota", passed the 25th day of October, 1954 as subsequently amended is hereby amended to read as follows: "A.wall, fence or hedge may occupy part of the required yard; but no wall, fence or hedge more than four feet in height shall be constructed or permitted on any front yard, nor shall any wall, fence or hedge more than eight feet in height be constructed or permitted on any rear yard. Ali posts. on any fence located on or ne/ar the lot line shall be on the inside of the fence. The term 'hedges' as~.~sed in this paragraph shall not include trees. No walls, fences, hedges, t/roes or other plants or structures shall be established or maintained on the front yard of any corner lot in such manner as to obstruct vision from the adjacent streets, of traffic approaching within 50 feet of the adjacent intersection. No wails, fences or hedges shall be constructed or permitted on any boulevard area or public right of way."
