The Village Council of the Village of Richfield do ordain as follows:
Section 5 of Ordinance No. 2.10 of the Village of Richfield entitled
"~.n Ordinance Relating to Heating and Electrical Installations Adopting Certain
Ordinances of the City of 1~Linneapolis by Reference" adopted the 13th day of
Decembers 19~}~, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"S~ction 5. No person, firm, or corporation shall. engage in the busi-
ness of electrician or heating installex~ without first securing the appropri-
ate license therefor from the Village of Richfield permitting him to engage in
such business. The fee for' any electrical license shall be X15.00. The fee
for any type of heating or ventilating license, or any combination of types of
heating and ventilating la.censes, shall be X34.00 per licensee. The Village
Council shall pass upon the granting of any such license. Any persons firm
or corporation holding a license in the City of I~inneapolis~ or qualified to
receive such a license except for business location, may' upon proof thereof
receive a similar type or class of license from the Village of Richfield; pro-
vided that the applicant shall provide such bond and insurance for the Village
of Richfield as are required for the City of Minneapolis and provided further
that any app7.i.cant for a license or a renewal thereof may be denied such
license by reason of violations of the provisions of this ordinance."

age of Richfield, Hennepin County, Minnesota, from which it is issued
as above stated and in newspaper forrr~at and in column and sheet
form equivalent in space to at least 450 running inches of single col-
umn, two inches wide; has been issued as aforesaid once each week
from a known office established in said place of publication 'and em-
ploying skilled workmen and the necessary material for preparing
and printing the same; that the press work ~on that part of the news-
pa,per devoted to local news of interest to the community it pur:par~ts
to serve 'has been done in its known office of publication; that during
all said time in its makeup nat less than twenty-five percent of its
news columns have been devoted to local news of interest to the com-
munity it purports to serve; that during all said time it has not
wh~ally duplicated any other publican-on, :and has nat been entirely
made up of patents, plate matter and advertisements; has been cir-
culated in and near its said place of ~publica,tion to the extent of at
least two hundred and forty (2400 copies regularly delivered to pay-
ing subscribers and has entry as second class matter in its local post-
offi:ce; and that there has been on file in the office of the County
Auditor ~of Hennepin County, 1,3innesota, the affidavit of 'a person
having knawled~ge of the facts, s?howing the name and location 'of
said newspaper and the existence ~of the conditions constituting its
qualifications as a legal newspaper.
