STALLATION, ALTERATION, MAINTENANCE AND USE OF
GAS BURNING DEVICES CONNECTED T~€it~~TO, ADOPTING
AN ORDINANCE OF TIDE CITY OF ~iINNEAk'OLIS I3Y ~tEl+''~2.ENCE.
THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF RICHFIELD DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOt~tSs
Section to The ga.s piping ordinance of the City of P~1inr~eapolis,
i~Tinnesota, known as Ordinance No. 3,13, entitled, °tAn Ordinance to
regulate the Installation of Gas Piping for Illuminating or Fuel Gas
a.nd the Installation, Alteration, Maintenance and Use of Gas Iurning
Devices Connected T~~ereto, and Repealing a Certain Ordinance's,
passed the first day of July 1950 as amended to date is hereby
adopted by reference and shall be in full force and effect in this
Villages All work done hereafter in this Village sha1.1 be done in
accordance with the regulatory provisions thereofs
Section 2. Three (3) copies of the aforementioned ordinance as
amended shall be filed by the Village Clerk in his office for inspec-
tion and use of the public and shall be marked by the Clerk titiTith the
words, ssVillage of l~ichf field, Official Copyp ss
Section 3. 1~~'henever said ordinance refers to the City of hz.nneapolis'
it shall be deemed applicable to the Village of 1',ichfield in lieu therea-
of and whenever said ordinance refers to any administrative office or
officer of the City of ~+linneapolis, it shall be deemed to refer and
be applicable to the corresponding office or officer of the -Village of
~tichfield.
Section 4o It shall be the duty of the Chief Inspector to enforce the
provisions of this ordinance subject to the direction and control of
the Village I~Ianager.
Section 5, Any person violating any of the provisions of said ordinance
~n~t iei~Tillage of r~ichfield shall upon conviction therefor be punished
by a fine not to exceed $100 or by imprisonment for not to exceed 90
dayso
Passed by the Council this 11th day of January 1960.
