AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE NO. 2.03
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THAT CERTAIN ORDINANCE NO. 2.03 OF RICHFIELD
ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROMOTING HEAL~i, SAFETY,
ORT~ER, CONVENIENCE, PROSPERITY AND GENERAL WELFARE BY REGULATING
~ USE OF LAND, THE LOCATION APdD USE OF BUILDINGS, THE ARRANS EMENT
OF BUILDINGS ON LOTS, AND THE DENSITY OF POPULA TI ON IN THE VILLAGE OF
RICHFIELD, HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA" AS PASSED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL
THE 25TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 1954, aS SUBSEQ(JENTLY AMENDED.
The Village Council of the Village of Richfield do ordain as follows:
That Ordinance No,.2.03 of the Village of Richffield entitled "An Ordinance
for the Purpose of Promoting Health, Safety, Order, Convenience, Prosperity
and General i~tielfare by Regulating the Use of Buildings, the Arrangement of
Buildings on Lots, and the Density of Population in the Village of Richfield,
Hennepin County, Minnesota" as passed by the Village Council on the 25th day
of October, 1954, as subsequently amended, be and is hereby amended in the
following respects:
(1) Section 5, Subsection 3 thereof is hereby amended by deleting the
following paragraph, to wit:
"That area lying between the center lines of Queen and Oliver
Avenue between 74th and ?6th Streets."
(Z} Section 5, Subsection 3 thereof is hereby amended by adding thereto
the following paragraphs, to wit:
"The property lying within the.foliowing described boundary line:
Beginning at a point on the west line of Oliver Avenue 138.2 feet
south of the south line of 75th Street; thence west parallel with
75th Street 134 feet; thence south parallel with Oliver Avenue 60
feet; thence east parallel with the south line of 75th Street 134
feet; thence north to the point of beginning."
"That area lying between the center lines of Queen and Penn Avenues
between 74th and 76th Streets.''
(3) Section 5, Subsection 4 thereof is hereby amended by adding the*_-eto
the following paragraphs, to wit:
"Lot 6, Block 5, Lyndale Oaks Addition."
"That area lying between the centerline of Penn and Oliver Avenues
and between 74th and 7bth Streets except that part thereof lying
within the following described boundary line: Beginning at a
point on the west line of Oliver Avenue 138.2 feet south of the
south line of 75th Street; thence west parallel with 75th Street
134 feet; thence south parallel with Oliver Ave. 60 feet; thence
east parallel with the south line of 75th Street 134 feet; thence
north to the point of beginning."

Richfield News, 'and has full knowledge of the facts hereinafter

as above stated and in newspaper format and in column and sheet

umn, two inches wide; has been issued as aforesaid once each week
from a known office established in said place of publication and em-
ploying skilleli workmen and the necessary material for preparing
and printing the same; that the press work on that part of the news-
paper devoted to local news of interest to the community it punparts
to serve has been 'done in its known office of publication; that during
all said time in its makeup not less than twenty-'five' percent of its
news columns Have been devoted to local news 'af interest to the com-
munity it purports to serve; that during all said time it has not
wholly dwplicated any other publication, and has not been entirely

cu1a'ted in and near its said plane of publication to the extent of at

County Auditor of Hennepin Gounty, Minnesota, the affidavit of a per-
son having knowledge of the facts, showing the name and location of
said newspaper and the existence of the conditions constituting its
gwalifications as a legal newspaper.
