AN ORDINANCE AMENDING T-iAT CERTAIN ORDINANCE N0. 2.03 OF RICHFIELD
ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROMOTING HEALTH, SAFETY,.
ORDER, CONVENIENCE, PROSPERITY AND GENERAL WELFARE BY REGULATING
THE USE OF LAND, THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS,. THE ARRANGEMENT
OF BUILDINGS ON LOTS, AND THE DENSITY OF POPULATION IN THE VILLAGE
OF RTCHFIBLD, HENNEPIN COUNTY,. MINNESOTA" AS PASSED BY THE VILLAGE
COUNCIL THE 25TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 1954, AS SUBSEQUENTLY Ah1ENDED.
The Village Council of the Village of Richfield do ordain as: follows:
That. Ordinance No. 2.03 of the Village of Richfield entitled "An
Ordinance for the Purpose of Promoting Health, Safety, Order, Convenience,
Prosperity and GeneraY Welfare by Regulating the Use of Buildings, the Arrange-
ment of Buildings on Lots, and the Density of Population in the Village of
Richfield, Hennepin County, Minnesota" as passed by the Village Council on
the 25th day of October, .1954, as subsequently amended, be and is hereby
amended in the following respect:
Section 5, Subsection 4 thereof is hereby amended by adding thereto
the following paragraph, to wit:
Lot 1, Block 3, Engberg t~-alden Second Addition except that
part thereof lying within 173 feet of the center line of
Cedar Avenue.
Passed by the Village Council this 27th day of October, 1958.

field, in the County of Hennepin., State of Minineso~ta, on Thursday of
each week; that during all said time said newspaper has been. printed
in the ~glish language from its office of publication within the Vil-
lage of Richfield, Hennepin ~C+aunty, Minnesota, from which it is issued
as above stated and in newspaper format and incolumn and sheet
form equivalent in space to at least 450 running inches of single col-
umn, two inches wide; has been issued as aforesaid once each week
from a knawn office established in said place of publication and em-
ploying skilled warkm;en sand the necessary material for -preparing
and printing the same; that the press work an that part of the news-
pa+per deviated to local news of interest bo the community it purports
to serve has been done' in its knawn office of publication; that during
all said time in its makeup not less than twenty 'five percent of its
news columns have been devoted to local news of interest -ta the com-
munity it purports to nerve; that daring all said time it has not
wholly dwplicated any other p~ublic'ation, and has not been entirely
made up of :patents, plate matter sand advertisements; has been cir-
cu1ated in and near its said place of publication to the extent of at
least two hluxndred anal forty (240) copies regularly dtlivered to pay-
ing subscribers and has entry as second class matter in its local post-
office; that a copy of each issue has been filed with theState His~tari-
cal Society, St. Paul; and that there has ibeen on file in tYle o~fficei bf the
Gounty Awditar of Hennepin Gaunty, Minnesota,, the affidavit of a per-
son having knowledge of the facts, showing the name and location of
said newspaper and the existence of the conditions constituting its
qu+alificatians as a 1e~ga1 newspaper.
