AD~NDMENT 'In ORDINANCE N0. 2.03
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THAT CERTAIN ORDINANCE NO. 2.03 OF THE
VILLAGE OF RICHFIELD, MINNESOTA, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE FOR
THE PIIP,POSE OF PROMOTING HEALTH, SAFETY, ORDER, CONVENIENCE,
PROSPERITY AND GENERAL WELFARE BY REGULATING THE USE OF LAND,
THE LOCATION AND L1SE OF BUILDINGS, TI-TE ARRANGEMENT OF BUILD-
INGS ON LOTS, AND THE DENSITY OF POPULATI011T IN THE VILLAGE OF
RIQiFILED, HENNEPIN OJUNTY, MINNESOTA" PASSED THE 25TH DAY OF
OCTOBER, 1954, AS SUBSEQUENTLY AMENDED.
The Village Council of the Village of Richfield do ordain that Ordi-
nance No, 2.03 of the Village of Richfield, entitled "An Ordinance for the
Purpose of Promoting Health, Safety, Order, Convenience, Prosperity and
GeneraS Welfare, by Regulating the Use of Land, the Location and Use of
Buildings, the Asrangemen'c of Buildings on Lots, and the Density of Popu-
lation in the Village of Richfield, Hennepin County, Minnesota" passed
October 25, 1954, as subsequently amended is hereby. amended in tS.ie following
respect:
Section 11, paragraph A is hereby amended by adding thereto the
following paragraph, to wit:
t'9, Tree trimming services, provided that such-services do
not include the storage, accumulation or Y.eeping of wood
or tree trimmings on the premises."
Adopted by the. Village Council this 13th day of October, 1958.

sworn, on oath says; that he is, and during all the times herein stated
hasbeen, roz>.e of the publishers of the newspaper known as The
Richfield News, and has full knowledge of the factshereinafter
stated; that for 'more than gone year prior to the publica~fion therein

hereto attached, said newspaper was published in the Village of Rich-
field, in the County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota, on Thursday of
each week; that during all said time said newspaper has been printed
in the English language from its office of publication wifllin the Vl-
lage of Richfield, Hennepin ~C'ounty, Minnesota, from which it is issued
as above stated and in newspaper format and in column and sheet
form equivalent in space to a•t least 450 running inches of single col-
umn, two inches wide; leas been issued as aforesaid once each week
from a 'known office established in said place of publication and em-
ploying skilled workmen and fhe necessary material for preparing
and prinfin~g the same; that the press work an that ,part of the news-
paper devoted to local news of interest to the community it purports
to serve has been done in its known office of publication; that during
all said time in its makeup not less than twenty-five percent of its
news columns have been devoted fo local news of interest to the com-
munity it purports to serve; that during all said time it has not
wholly dwplicated any other pla~blication, and has not been entirely
matte up of patents, plate matter sand advertisements; has ,been cir-
culated in and near its said place of publication to the extent of a,t
least two hundred and forty (240•) copies rr:~gularly dtlivered to pay-
ing subscribers and has entry as second class matter in its local post-
office; that a copy of each issue has been filed with the State Histori-
cal Society, St. Paul; and that there has bbeen on file in the officei rof the
County Auditor of Hennepin County, Minnesota, fhe affidavit of a per-
son having knowledge of the facts, showing the name and location of
said newspaper and fhe existence of the conditions constituting its
qualifications as a legal newspaper.
