AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THAT CERTAIN ORDINANCE NO. 2.03 OF THE VILLAGE OF RICHFIELD,
MINNESOTA ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE POR THE PURPOSE OF PROi~RO'I°ING HEALTH,. SAFETY,
ORDER, CONVENIENCE,. PROSPERITY AND GENERAL WELFARE BY REGUTA TING THE USE OF LAND,
THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, THE ARRANGEMENT OF BUILDINGS ON LOTS, AND THE
DENSITY OF POPULATION IN THE VZLI,AGE OF RICHFIELD, HENNEPIN COiJNTY, MINNESOTi~"
PASSED THE 25TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 1954, AS SIJBSEQUENTLY AI`IENDED.
The Village Council of the Village of Richfield do ordain that Ordinance No.
2.03 of the Village of Richfield, entitled "An Ordinance for the Purpose of Pro-
moting Health, Safety,. Order, Convenience,.. Prosperity and General Welfare, by
Regulating the Use of Land, the Location and Use of Buildings, the Arrangement
of Buildings on Lots, and the Density of Population in the Village of Richfield,
~Tennepin County, Minnesota", passed October 25, 1954, as subsequently am ended is
hereby amended in the following respects:
(1) Section 5, Subsection 4 thereof is hereby amended by adding the follow-
ing paragraph, to wit:
All that area located north of Rae Drive, bounded on the west by
Woodlake School property, on the north by the proposed 65th Street
right-of-way and on the east by the proposed Rae. Drive extended
north to 65th St.
(2) Section 5, Subsection 3 thereof is hereby amended by deleting the fol-
lowing paragraph, to wit:
That area between the center line of Columbus Ave. and the west line
of Lots 2 and 3 extended southerly through Block 1, Iverson's 3rd
Addition and between the center line of 66th Street and a line dis-
tant 250 feet northerly and parallel thereto.
(3) Section 5,•Subsection 3 thereof is hereby amended by adding the fol-
lowing paragraph, to wit:
That area between the west line of 11th Avenue and the east line of
Cedar Avenue,, between the center line of 66th Street and a line 250
feet northerly from and parallel to the center line of 66th Street.
Adopted by the Village Council this 24th day of Februarys 1958.

sworn, on oath says; that he is, and during all the times herein stated
has been, one of the publishers of the newspaper known as The
Richfield News, and has full knowledge of the facts hereinafter
stated; that for more than one year prior to the publication therein

hereto attached, said newspaper was published in the Village of Rich-
field, in the County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota, on Thursday of
each week; that during all said time said newspaper has been printed
in the English language from its office of publication within the Vill-
age of Richfield, Hennepin County, Minnesota, from which it is issued
as above stated and in newspaper format and in column and sheet
form equivalent in space to at least 450 running inches of single col-
umn, two inches wide; has been issued as aforesaid once each week
from a known office established in said place of publication and em-
ploying skilled workmen and the necessary material for preparing
and printing the same; that the press work 'on that part of the news-
paper devoted to local news of interest to the community it purports
to serve has been done in its known office of publication; that during
all said time in its makeup not less than twenty-flue percent of its
news columns have been devoted to local news of interest to the com-
munity it purports to serve; that during all said time it has not
wholly duplicated any other publication, and has not been entirely
made up of patents, plate matter and advertisements; has been cir-
culated in and near its said place of publication to the extent of at
least two hundred and forty (240) copies regularly delivered to pay-
ing subscribers and has entry as second class matter in its 1aca1 post-
office; and that there has been on file in the office of the County
Auditor of Hennepin County, Minnesota, the affidavit of a person
having knowledge of -the facts, showing the name and location of
said newspaper and the existence of the conditions constituting its
qualifications as a legal newspaper.
