1961-18I~i11 I~?a. 1961-18 AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE No. 11.08 An Ordinance Amending That Certain Ordinance No. 11.08 of the Village of Richfield Entitled "An Ordinance Regulating the Take-off and Landing of Aircraft," passed the 27th day of December 195. The Village Council of the Village of Richfield ordains: Ordinance No. 11.08 of the Village of Richfield entitled "An Ordinance Regu- lating the Take-off and Landing of Aircraft", passed the 27th day of December 1955, is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 1. No person sha1~_ use the surface of any field, park, lake, body of water, parking lot, street or other place in the Village of Richfield for the take-off or landing of any aircraft or airplane without first having a license to do so and upon compliance with the requirements of this ordinance. Section 2. Any person desiring a license to land or take off any airplane ar aircraft in the Village of Richfield shall make written application to the village clerk stating the following: The name and address of the applicant; the name and address of the owner of the aircraft; a detailed description of the aircraft; the date, time and place for which the license is sought; the amaunt of public liability insurance which is carried on such aircraft and the operator thereof; and such other inf ormati on a,~ the village manager may require to show the manner in which it i s pra- posed to operate the aircraft and the extent to which the public will be protected against loss or damage as a consequence of the proposed operation. In connection with the statement as to insurance protection, the village may require proof of in- surance apart from the application. Section 3. The person making such application shall be charged with the truth and accuracy supplied therein, and failure to provide true and .~omplete information shall be a violation of this ordinance. Section 4. The application shall be accompanied by a license fee which shall be $2 for each day for which the license is sought. Section ~. The application shall be presented to the village council, who may either grant or deny the same, and in granting the same the village council may impose conditions or limitations upon the granting thereof. Any such license may be revoked for failure to comply with this ordinance or with any limitations or con- ditions so imposed. Section 6. No such landing or take-off shall be performed carelessly or heed- lessly in disregard of the rights or safety of others or in such manner as to endanger or be likely to endanger persons or property tirithin the village. 1 Amendment to Ord.
