AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE NO.. 2.03
an Amendment to Section 5, Subsections 3 and 4 of the Zoning Ordi-
nance of the City of Richfield Entitled "An Ordinance for the
Purpose of Promoting Health,. Safety,. Order, Convenience, Prosperity
and General Welfare by Regulating the Use of Land, the Location and
Use of Buildings, the Arrangement of Buildings on Lots and the Densi-
ty of Population in the Village of Richf field, Hennepin County,
Minnesota" Passed the 25th day of October, 1954, as Subsequently
Amended.
CITY OF RICHFIELD DOES ORDAIN;
The zoning ordinance of the City of Richf field entitled "An Ordinance for the Purpose
of Promoting Health, Safety, Order, Convenience, Prosperity and General iti'elfare by Regu-
lating the Use of Land, the Location and Use of Buildings, the Arrangement of Buildings
on Lots and the Density of Population in the Village of Richfield, Hennepin County, Minne-
sota", passed the 25th day of October 1954, as subsequently amended, is hereby amended in
the following respects:
1. Section 5, Subsection 3 thereof, entitled "General Commercial District" is hereby
amended by deleting therefrom the following paragraph, to-wit::
/That area lying within the following described boundaries: Begin-
ning at the intersection of the center lines of 77th Street and
Logan avenue, thence north 165 feet, thence east to midway between
the center lines of Logan and Knox Avenues, thence north to the
center line of 76th'Street, thence east to midway between Fremont
and Emerson Avenues, thence south to the center line of 77th Street,
thence west along the center line of 77th Street to the point of
beginning and there terminating./
2. Section 5, Subsection 3 thereof, entitled "General Commercial District" is hereby
amended by adding thereto the following paragraph, to-wit:
That area lying within the f ollowing_described boundaries: Beginning
at the intersection of the center lines of 77th Street and Logan Avenue,
thence north 165 feet, thence east to midway between the center lines
of Logan and Knox Avenues, thence north to the center line of 76th
Street; thence east to the center line of Knox Avenue, thence south
538.21 feet, thence east to the west right-of -way line of Highway
35t~V, thence southwesterly along such west right-of-way line to the
cent er line of_77th Street, thence west along the center line of 77th
Street t o the point of beginning.

3.. Section 5, Subsection 4 thereof, entitled "Multiple Residences" is hereby
amended by adding thereto the following paragraph, to-wit:
The north 538.21 feet of that area lying between the center lines
of 76th and 77th Streets, between the center line of Knox Avenue
and the west right-of -way line of Highway 35th'.
