1965-10AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE No. 3.C8 An Ordinance Amending Section 2 of That Certain Ordinance of the City of Richfield entitled "An Ordinance for the Purpose of Promoting the Health and General T~Telfare of the Residents of the Village of Richfield Hennepin County, by Regulating the Keeping of Garbage and Regulating and Licensing the Conveying and Hauling Thereof in said Village"~ Passed the 13th day of April 1912, as subsequently amended. CITY OF RICHFIELD DOES ORDAIN: Section 2 of Ordinance No. 3.08 of the City of Richfield entitled "An Ordinance for the Purpose of Promoting the Health and General ?~>>elfare of the Residents of the Village of Richfield, Hennepin County, by Regulating the Keeping of Garbage and Regulating and Licensing the Conveying and Hauling Thereof in Said Village"' passed the 13th day of April 1942, as subsequently amended, is hereby amended to read as follows: "2. All persons hauling or conveying rubbish, garbage or other refuse material, shall haul the same in suitable vehicles provided with end and side boards of sufficient height to prevent any part of the load frcm falling or leaking into or upon any public street or alley in said City of Richfield, and such vehicles shall at all times except when loading or unloading, be kept covered with sufficient canvas, metal or wooden covers,, ti,,hich said covers shall be closely attached to the sides and ends of such vehicles. There shall be printed on both sides of such vehicles in clear legible type, the name ar~d street address of the owner of such vehicle. No person engaged in hauling rubbish, garbage or other refuse material for hire shall do so after d:30 p.m. or before 6:30 a.m. on aray day. There shall be no garbage pick-up at single family residences on Sundays."
