AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THAT CERTAIN ORDINANCE No. 2003 OF THE VILLAGE OF
RICHFIELD,. MINNESOTA, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROMOTING
HEALTH, SAFETY, ORDER, CONVENIENCE, PROSPERITY AND GENERAL WELFARE BY
REGULATING. THE USE OF LAND, THE. LOCATION AND. USE OF BUILDIIVG5, THE ARRANGE=
MENT OF BUILDINGS ON .LOTS AND. THE DENSITY OF POPULATION IN ZHE VILLAGE OF
RICHFIELD, HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA" PASSED THE 25th, DAY OF OCTOBERS 1954,

The Village Council of the Village of Richfield do or dain that Ordinance No.
2.03 of the. Village of Richfield9 entitled "An Ordinance for the Purpose of Promoting
Health¢_Safety, Order, Convenience, Prosperity and General Welfare by Regulating
the Use of Land, the Location. and Use. of Buildings,. the Arrangement of Buildings
on Lots, and the Density of Population in the Village of Richfield, Hennepin County,
Minnesota", passed actober 25, 1954' as subsec}uer~].y amended is hereby amended ~.n
the following respects:
(1) Section 5, Sub-section 2 thereof, is hereby amended by adding
thereto the following paragraph, to-wito
"Lots 3 and 4, Block 8, Towns Edge Addition".
(2) Section 5, Sub-section 4 then-eof, is hereby amended by deleting
therefrom the following paragraph, to~wito
"Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4, Block $ and Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5,
Block 1, Towns Edge Addition".
(3) Section 5, Sub-section 4 thereof, i.s hereby amended by adding
thereto the following paragraph, to-wits
"Lot s l and 2, Block 8, and Lots 19 2, 3, 4, and 5,
Block 1, Towns Edge Addition"„
Passed by the Village Council of the Village of Richfield this 22nd day of July,
1963.

sworn, on oath says; that he is, and during all the times herein stated

Richfield News, and has full knowledge of the facts hereinafter

hereto attached, said newspaper was published in the Village of Rich-
field, in the County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota, on Thursday of
each week; that dlu'ing all said time said newspaper has been printed
in the English language from its office of •pwblication within the Vil-
lage of Richfield, Hennepin County, Minnesota, from which it is issued
as above stated and in newspaper format and in column and sheet
form equivalent in space to at least 450 running inches of single col-
umn, two inches wide; has •been issued as aforesaid once each week
from a known office established in said place of publication and em-
ploying skilled workmen and tape necessary material for preparing
and printing the same; that the press work on that part of the news-
paper devoted to local news of interest to the community it purports
to serve has been done in its known office of pwblication; that during
alI said time in its makeup not less than twenty-five percent of its
news columns have been devoted to local news of interest to the com-
munity it purports to serve; that during all said time it has not
wholly dwplicated any other publication, and has not been entirely
made up of patents, plate matter and advertisements; has been cir-
culated in and near its said place of pwblication to the extent of at
least two hundred and forty (240) copies regularly delivered to pay-
ing subscribers and has entry as second class matter in its local post-
office; that a copy of each issue has '•been file-d with -the State Histori-
cal Society, St. Paul; and that there has been on file in the offices of the
County Auditor of Hennepin County, Minnesota, the affidavit of a per-
son having knowledge of the facts, showing the name and location of
said newspaper and the existence of the conditions constituting its
gwalifications as a legal newspaper.
