NO. 2.14 OF THE CITY OF RICHFIELD, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE
RELATING TO THE MUNICIPAL ta~ATER SYSTEM, ESTABLISHING REGULA-
TIONS AND RATES FOR WATER SERVICE,, AND PROVIDING PENALTIES "
FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF, PASSED THE 27TH DAY OF DECEMBER 1961,
AS SUBSEQUENTLY AMENDED.

Section ?, Paragraph A of Ordinance No. 2.14 of the City of Richf field,
entitled "An Ordinance Relating to the Municipal Water System, Establishing
Regulations and Rates for Water Service, and Providing. Penalties for Viola-
tions Thereof", passed the 27th day of December .1961, as subsequently amended,
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 7. Water Rates..
"A. The rate due and payable to the city by each water user within
the city for water taken from the water supply system shall be'
forty-five cents per 1,000 gallons,. payable quarterly; subject,
however, tcu a minimum charge to each water user for each quarter
year period during which water service is furnished as follows::

"Out of the amount paid on any quarterly water billing, one-
half of the amount of such quarterly minimum charge shall be
credited toward the water availability charge provided for
in Ordinance No. 2.15.
"In case the meter is found to have stopped,, or to be operating
in a faulty manner, the amount of water used will be estimated
in accordance with the amount used previously.
"h'here service is for less than a quarterly period, this charge
will be pro-rated on a monthly basis."
Passed by the city council of the City of Richfield this 23zd day of
January, 1967.
