An Amendment to Section 5, Subsections 3 and 4 of the Zoning
Ordinance of the City of Richfield Entitled "An Ordinance for
the Purpose of Promoting Health, Safety, Order, Convenience,."
Prosperity and GeneraS Welfare by Regulating the Use of Land,
the Location and Use of Buildings, the Arrangement of Build-
. ings on Lots and the Density of Population in the Village of
Richf ie 1d, Hennepin County, Minnesota" Passed the 25th day of
October, 1954, as Subsequently Amended.
CITY OF RICHFIELD DOES ORDAIN:
The zoning ordinance of the City of Richfield entitled "An Ordinance for the
Purpose of Promoting Hea~Ith, Safety, Order, Convenience, Prosperity and General Wel-
faze by Regula ting the Use of Land, the Location and Use of Buildings, the arrange-
ment of Buildings on Lots and the Density of Population in the Village of Richfield,
Hennepin County,, D4innesot~s", passed the 25th day of October 1954, as subsequentiy
amended, is hereby amended in the following respects:
1. Section 5, Subsection 3 thereof, entitled "General Commercial District" is
hereby mended by deleting therefrom the following paragraph, to-wit:
/That area lying within the following described boundaries: Beginning
at the intersection of,63rd Street and the center line of alley of Block 1,
Ray's Lynnhurst 2nd Addition, thence running southerly along the center line
of said alley extended to the easterly shore of Grass Lake, thence southeast-
erly along the share of Grass Lake to the east section line of Section 28,
Township 28, Range 24; thence southerly along said section line to the center.

Street to the intersection with Lyndale Avenue; thence northwesterly and north-
erly along the center line of Lyndale Avenue to the intersection of 63rd Street;
thence westerly along-the center line of 63rd Street to the point of beginning
and there terminating, except Tract '''C" of Registered Land Survey #675/.
2. Section 5, Subsection 3 thereof, entitled "General Commercial District"' is
hereby amended by adding thereto the following paragraph, to-wit::
That area lying within the following described boundaries: Beginning at
the intersection of 63rd Street and the center line of alley of Block 1, Ray's
Lynnhurst Znd Addition, thence running southerly along the center line of said
alley extended to the easterly shore of Grass Lake, thence southeasterly along
the shore of Grass Lake to the east section line of Section 28, Township 28,
Range 24; thence southerly along said section line to the center line of 65th St.f

thence northeasterly along the center line of 65th Street to the intersection
with Lyndale Avenue; thence northwesterly and northerly along the center line of
Lyndale Avenue to the intersection of 63rd Street; thence westerly along the

cept Tract "C1°' of Registered Land Survey #675, and except the West 55 feet of
Tract "B"', Registered Land Survey #675, and except all of Tract "B", Registered
Land Survey No. 1131.
3. Section 5,. Subsection 4 thereof, entitled "Multiple Residences" is hereby
amended by adding th ereto the following paragraph, to-wit:
The West 55 feet of Tract "B" Registered Land Survey #675 and all of
Tract "B°' Registered Land Survey No. 1131, r
