AMENDMENT TO SECTION 5.18 SUBDIVISION 6
OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF
RICHFIELD, MINNESOTA ~
CITY OF RICHFIELD .DOES ORDAIN:
Subdivision 6 of Section 5.18 of the ordinance code of the City of
Richfield, Minnesota, relating, to mechanical amusement devices, is hereby
amended to read as follows:
11Subd. 6. Prohibition of Gambling or Gaming. The licensing of any
mechanical amusement device under `,this section does not in any way
authorize the use of said device for the purpose of gaming or gambling
in violation of the laws of Minnesota or of any other provision of this
code. Should any gambling device be, used in violation of Minnesota law
the city may proceed in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota
Statutes 325.53 to 325.56 in additiori,to the imposition of any other
penalty. No person under the age of ~6 years shall play, and nolicensee
or em loyee of an establishment in which a mechanical device is located
shall permit a person under the age of =16 to play, any pinball machine or
any other coin-operated mechanical amusement device where the player may
rewarded with free games or the opportunity to play additional games."
