AMENDMENT TO SECTION 11.06, SUBDIVISION 19
OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITX OF RICHFIELD
CITY OF RICHFIELD DOES ORDAIN:
Subdivision 19 of Section 11.06 of the ordinance code of the City of
Richfield, Minnesota, relating to revocation and suspension of on-sale liquor
licenses, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"~Subd. 19. Revocation Procedure. Except in the case of a suspension
pending a hearing on revocation, revocation or suspension by the council shall
be preceded by written notice to the licensee and a public hearing. The
notice shall give at least eight days` notice of the time and place of the
hearing and shall state the nature of the charges against the licensee. The
council may, without any notice, suspend any license pending a hearing or revo-
cation for a period not exceeding 30 days. The notice may be served upon the
licensee personally or by leaving the same at the licensed premises with the
person in charge thereof. No suspension shall exceed 60 days.
Subd. 19. Revocation Procedure. The licensee shall be granted a hearing
.upon at least ten days' notice before revocation or suspension is ordered ~y
the city council in cases where mandatory revocation _is not provided by law.
Such notice shall state the nature of the charges against the licensee. The
notice may be served upon the licensee personally or by leaving the same at the
licensed premises with the person in charge thereof. No suspension shall ex-
ceed sixty days."

duplicate any other publication and is not made up entirely of patents, plate matter and
advertisements. (4) Said newspaper is circulated in and near the municipality which it purports
to serve, has at least 500 copies regularly delivered to paying subscribers, has an average of
at least 75% of its total circulation currently paid or no more than three months in arrears

rve the City of Richfield in the County of Hennepin and it has its known office of
ue in the City' of Bloomington in said county, established and open during its regular business

ol during all such regular business hours and devoted exclusively during such regular
business hours to the business of the newspaper and business related thereto. (8) Said news-
paper files a copy of each issue immediately with the State Historical Society. (7) Said news•
paper has complied with all the foregoing conditions for at least two years preceding the day
or dates of publication mentioned below. (8) Said newspaper has filed with the Secretary of
State of Minnesota prior to January 1, 1966 and each January 1 thereafter an affidavit in the
form prescribed by the Secretary of State and signed by the publisher of said newspaper and
sworn to before a notary public stating that the newspaper is a legal newspaper.
