1970-22Bill 19'70-22 AMENDMENT TO SECTION 3.39 SUBDIVISION 2 PARAGRAPH (e) OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF RICHFIELD CITY OF RICHFIELD DOES ORDAIN: Paragraph (e) of Subdivision 2 of Section 3.39 of the ordinance code of the City of Richfield, Minnesota, relating to permitted locations of walls, fences and hedges, is hereby amended to read as follows: " (e) A wall, fence, or hedge may occupy part of the required yard; [taut] except that (a) no wall, fence, or hedge more than four feet in height shall be constructed or permitted on any front yard, [nor shall an~ (b no wall, fence or hedge more than eight feet in height shall be constructed or permitted on any rear yard, and (c) no wall, fence or hedge more than four feet in hei ht shall be constructed or permitted on the rear yard of a corner lot which abuts upon a key lot, closer to the street than the front yard setback line of the key lot. A11 posts on any fence located on or near the lot line shall be on the inside of the fence. The term `hedges' as used in this paragraph shall not in- clude trees. No walls, fences, hedges, trees or other plants or structures shall be established or maintained on the front yard of any comer lot in such manner as to obstruct vision frogs the adjacent streets of traffic approaching within 50 feet of the adjacent intersection.
