1972-13Bill 1972-13 ORDINANCE No. 16.14. AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXPENDITURE OF MONEY FROM THE SPECIAL REVENUE FUND FOR PARK ACQUISITION AND BETTERMENT City of Richfield does ordain; Section 1. It is found and determined to be necessary and expedient for the city to expend money from the special revenue fund for the acquisition and betterment of public parks and playgrounds, including Taft Park, in addition to funds otherwise available for that purpose, such improvements being capital improvements for which the city would be authorized to issue general obligation bonds. Section 2. The sum of $3,15Af20Q is hereby authorized to be paid from the special revenue fund for such purposes. Section 3. The expenditure herein authorized shall be made pursuant to such contracts as are authorized from time to time by council resolution. (0) Said news- aper files a copy of each issue immediately with the State Historical Society. (7) Said news- paper has complied with all the foregoing conditions for at least two years preceding the day or dates of publication mentioned below. (8) Said newspaper has filed with the Secretary of State of Minnesota prior to January 1, 1908 and each January 1 thereafter an affidavit in the form prescribed by the Secretary of State and signed by the publisher of said newspaper and sworn to before a notary public stating that the newspaper is a legal newspaper.
