4.Consent Calendar contains several separate items, which are acted upon by the City Council in one
motion. Once the Consent Calendar has been approved, the individual items and recommended
actions have also been approved. No further Council action on these items is necessary. However, any
Council Member may request that an item be removed from the Consent Calendar and placed on the
regular agenda for Council discussion and action. All items listed on the Consent Calendar are
recommended for approval.
A .C onsider the approval of an agreement between the Hennepin C ounty Human S ervices and P ublic Health
D epartment and the C ity of Richfield P olice D epartment to participate in the J oint C ommunity P olice
P artnership (J C P P ) program from January 1, 2024, through D ecember 31, 2026.

B .C onsider extending A merican Rescue P lan A ct funding contracts with V E A P from March 31, 2024 to June
30, 2024, and with the C onflict Resolution C enter to S eptember 30, 2024.

C .C onsider approval of the bid tabulation and authorize the Mayor and C ity Manager to execute a contract
with Valley P aving, Inc., for the S afe Routes to S chool 71st S treet sidewalk project in the amount of
$150,820, and authorize the C ity Manager to approve contract changes up to $175,000 without further C ity
C ouncil consideration.

disbursement of state general obligation bond funding for the 71st S treet S afe Routes to S chool sidewalk

7.C onsider the approval of the second reading of an ordinance amending S ection 925 - Nuisances to include a new
provision relating to flexible dumpsters and adding that a violation of section 1305.27 S ubd. 5 (Yards) & 6 (Vehicle
parking and storage limitations and requirements) is nuisance conduct and subject to a repeat nuisance fee.
