1976-17Bill No. 197617 1 AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER IV OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF RICIiFIELD CITY OF RICHI'IELll DOES ORDAIN: Criapter IV of th.e Ordinance Code of the City of Richfield regulating use of streets, public ways, grounds and places is hereby amended by adding thereto section 4,16 to read as follows: "~..lE REGULATING ACTIVITIES ON BODIES OF WATER WIi'HIN THE CITY .' Subdivision 1, Definitions. 'Bodies of 4~Jater' means Richfield Lake, 6Vood Lake, Legion Lake, Mother_ ' s La};.e, and all other .lakes, streams, ponds, r~7e~ tl~~zlds, mars'rzes, water. courses, and pondir_g areas s~.tuated. in whole or_in part within the cstv,~ _ 1 Subd.. 2. Activiti~=~> Prohibited. Subd. 4. Permits.. A group, association or organization wishing to sponsor or conduct and actlvlty described in Subdivision 1 of this section shall apply to the city manager nit less than .l0 days before such planned ~.ct9_vity for a permit f_o condu_ct that act.~_vity. No permit sha11 be issued un]_ess the city manager determines that the proposed activity: (1) Could not reasonably be conducted in areas of the city where such activity is not prohibited.
