Subdivision 1. Sanitarian. The sanitarian. i s res~o~:sible to t?-:~e
manager fen the enforcement of the provisions of t.is code and state
laws affecting public health. He is responsible for the develc~.,~ert
and e;~ecuti on of an inspection. program coverinc establis!,<<ents
preparing, manufacturing, storing and handling comuodities inte_.ued

Subd. 2. Health Officer. The health officer is the medical acvisor
to the council and the manager in matters affectinc public health.
He shall adv.Y,se the sanitarian. on the preparation o- inspection
programs, recommend to the manager appropriate action for.infractiens
of city health ordinances or state health la~~.s, rules cr regulations,
and recommend the abatement of nuisances affecting the public health.
The health officer shall be a doctor of medicine licensed to nrsctice
in Minnesota.

sit as the board of health, the health officer and the sanitarian
shall be ex-officio,, members of such board and shall advise the board

president and printer of the newspaper known as The Richfield Sun and has full knowledge of the fact
herein stated as follows: (1) Said newspaper is printed in the English language in newspaper format an

pervision of the preparation of all
plans, specifications and other
