2001-19BILL NO. 2001-19 AMENDMENT TO SECTIONS 310.37 OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF RICHFIELD THE CITY OF RICHFIELD DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. Subsection 310.37, Subdivision 1 of the ordinance code of the City of Richfield entitled "Personal leave" is hereby amended: 310.37. Personal leave. Subdivision 1. Eligibility and accrual. A managerial employee, a regular full-time or full-time probationary employee, and a regular part-time or part-time probationary employee, classified and compensated under the management compensation plan or general services pay plan, as those plans have been adopted and may be amended from time to time pursuant to subsection 310.17 of this code, is eligible to accrue and use personal leave. An eligible full-time employee shall accrue ~ 2.77 hours of personal leave biweekly and may accumulate such leave from year to year up to a maximum of 204 hours of personal leave, unless written authorization extending this maximum is obtained from the department head and the city manager. Hours in excess of 204 hours shall be forfeited by the employee without compensation. Eligible part-time employees shall accrue personal leave on a proportional basis of the full-time accrual based on hours worked per payroll period and shall be limited to maximum accruals and extensions authorized for full-time employees. Section 2. This ordinance is effective in accordance with Section 3.09 of the Richfield City Charter.
