1999-14BILL NO. 1999-14 TRANSITORY ORDINANCE NO. 17.92 AN ORDINANCE VACATING STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY (62nd Street) (6225 Blaisdell) THE CITY OF RICHFIELD DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. The following described land is subject to an easement for public right-of-way purposes: A Parcel of land lying North of the north line of Lot 10, Block 1, Betcher's Addition to the City of Richfield described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Lot 10; thence northerly along the northerly extension of the west line of said Lot 10 a distance of 20.50 feet, thence southeasterly to a point 10.00 feet north of the northeasterly corner of said Lot 10 as measured along the northerly extension of the east line of said Lot 10; thence south along last described line 10.00 feet to the northeast corner of said Lot 10; thence west along the north line of said Lot 10 a distance of 133.63 feet to the point of beginning. (refer to herein as the "Vacated Area") Sec. 2. The adjacent property owner has petitioned for vacation of the Vacated Area. Sec. 3. The Council finds that there will no longer be a public need for a right-of-way easement over the Vacated Area, as described in Section 1 of this Ordinance, provided a drainage and utility easement is maintained over the east five feet. Sec. 4. The easement over the Vacated Area, as described in Section 1 of this ordinance, is hereby vacated, reserving to the City an easement over the east five feet.
