1996-19BILL NO. 1996-19 TRANSITORY ORDINANCE NO. 17.69 AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF WEST 77-1 /2 STREET THE CITY OF RICHFIELD DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. The following described land has been dedicated to the public for street right-of-way purposes: The northerly one-half of West 77-1/2 Street as dedicated in the plat of STRAND'S SECOND ADDITION TO RICHFIELD, which lies easterly of the southerly extension of the east line of Lot 6, Block 1, in said Addition. Sec. 2. The fee owner of abutting land, the City of Richfield, has petitioned for the vacation of that part of West 77-1/2 Street as described in Section 1 of this ordinance. Sec. 3. The Council finds that there is no longer a public need for a street easement over that portion of West 77-1 /2 Street as described in Section 1. Sec. 4. The street easement over that portion of 77-1/2 Street, as described in Section 1 of this ordinance, is hereby vacated.
