AMENDMENT TO APPENDIX I
OF THE CITY ZONING CODE OF
THE CITY OF RICHFIELD
THE CITY OF RICHFIELD DOES ORDAIN:
1.01 Amendment to Appendix I.
Appendix I of the Zoning Code of the City of Richfield, which
describes the boundaries of the various zoning districts of the
City is hereby amended in the following respect:
Section 4, Paragraph (1) is amended to read as follows:
(1) That area lying between I-494 and the center line of
77th Street and its westerly extension to the easterly right-of-
way line of I-35W, and between I-35W and the Minneapolis,
Northfield and Southern Railroad EXCEPT that area lying between
the center line of 77th Street and I-494 and between the cen er
lines of Colfax and Emerson Avenues and ALSO EXCEPT that area
lvina between the center line of 77th Street and I-494 and
between the center lines of Colfax and Lyndale Avenues, except
Lots 1 through 5 of Block 1~ Strand's Second Addition.
Section 7, Paragraph (6) and (7) are added to read as
follows:
(6) That area lying between the center line of 77th Street
and I-494 and between the center lines of Colfax and Emerson
Avenues.
(7) That area lying between the center line of 77th Street
and I-494 and between the center lines of Colfax and Lyndale
Avenues, except Lots 1 through 5 of Block 1 Strand's_Second
Addition.
2.01 Land Rezoned.
This amendment constitutes a rezoning from C-3 to PC-2, of the
following described land:
Parcel 1: That land bounded by 77th Street on the north,
Colfax Avenue on the east, I-494 on the south, and Emerson
Avenue on the west; and
Parcel 2: That land bounded by 77th Street on the north,
Lyndale Avenue on the east, I-494 on the south, and Colfax
Avenue on the west, except for the parcel located at 7700
Lyndale Avenue (Conoco).

3.01 Effective dates of ordinance.
a. This ordinance shall not be published and shall not
become effective until after the Metropolitan Council has
approved the amendment to the City's Comprehensive Land Use Guide
Plan, as approved by the City Council of the City of Richfield in
Resolution No. 8130, adopted on April 18, 1994.
b. This ordinance shall become effective as to Parcel 1,
described above, on such date as all of Parcel 1 is held in
common ownership by the housing and Redevelopment Authority in
and for the City of Richfield or by a single partnership,
corporation, or individual fee owner.
c. This ordinance shall become effective as to Parcel 2,
ldescribed above, on such date as all of Parcel 2 is held in
common ownership by the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of
the City of Richfield or by a single partnership, corporation or
individual fee owner.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Richfield,
Minnesota this 18th day of April, 1994.
