1990-02 ~I BILL N0. 1990-2 AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER III OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF RICHFIELD CITY OF RICHFIELD DOES ORDAIN: Chapter III, of the Ordinance Code of the City of Richfield entitled "Section 305 - Administration: commissions• boards Section 305.01 Subd. 4. Composition of the commission; is hereby amended in the following respect: Subd.-.~. Composition of the commission. The commission consists of tea [thirteen] members appointed by the council. B}gait [eleven] members shall be appointed for terms of three years, except that (i) a person appointed to fill a vacancy occuring prior to the expiration of the term for which the predecessor in that term was appointed shall be appointed only for the remainder of such, and (ii) two persons shall be appointed as "youth" members for one year terms. Upon the expiration of the member's term of office, a member shall continue to serve until a successor is appointed and qualifies. Members serve without compensation and may be removed from office at any time by the council, but after a public hearing if a hearing is requested by the member whose removal is being considered.
