AMENDMENT TO SOHSECTION 715.17, SUBDIVISION 2
OF THE RICHFIELD CITY CODE Of 1987
THE CITY OF RICIi1~IELD DOES ORDAIN:
Subsection 715.17, subdivision 2 of the city code Sa
hereby amtnded to read ae follows:
Subd. 2. water meter tee. A ets~rrfeY-fit water
meter tee shall t psi mede by customers for the furnishing of
water meters by the city. The customer shall pay the
seeer~aY-fit tee before the water meter i6 installed.
The depee4t fee equired by this subdivision is not a
customer serv ice deposit and it not computtd with reference
to or based upon service supplied; the dtpttft f._ is
required to insure the safektepinq and proper maintenance of
the meter only, and for no othtr purpose. The dtpe•ib fee
shall be equal to the actual Coat to the city of obtain
the meter. The dtpesfe fee shall stand to the credit of the
property where the ratter ~?a installed, tathtr than to the
credit of the Owner of the property at the time of the
