1985-32 BILL N0. 1985-32 AMENDMENT TO TRANSITORY ORDINANCE ---~. N0. 17.1$. AN INTERIM ZONING ORDINANCE ADOPTED FOR THE PURPOSE THE PLANNING PROCESS IN OF PROTECTING A CERTAIN AREA OF THE CITY, REGULATING, RESTRICTING AND PROHI3ITING CERTAIN USES, DEVELOP- 2dENTS AND SUBDIVISONS WITHIN SUCH AREA. CITY OF RICHFIELD DOES ORDAIN: Transitory Ordinance No. 17.18 of the City of Richfield entitled "An Interim Zoning Ordinance Adopted for the Purpose of Protecting the Planning Process in a Certain Area of the City, Regulating, Restricting and Prohibiting Certain Uses, Develop- ments and Subdivisions Within Such Area" is hereby amended in the following respect: Section 3 thereof is amended, by adding at the end thereof, the following additional subdivision: "Subd. 4. The provisions of this ordinance shall not prevent the City from processing and granting permits any licenses relating to the special use pern~it for an automobile sales agency granted by the City Council on December 17, 1984, for the area south of 77th Street between the center lines o Grand Avenue extended and Harriet Avenue, nor shall it prevent the City from granting amendments to such special use permit. Such special use permit was granted on the same date that+the City began the process of enacting this ordinance. It was the intention of the Cit that actions necessary to give e feet to that special use permit would be permitted to proceed to completion notwithstanding the provisions of this ordinance.
