1983-03Bill 1983-3 w Ai`~~NDMENT TC CF-~p TER V , PART i I , SECTION 5.19 OF THi ORDIivAidCE CODE OF TF~E CITY OF RICFiz'IELD City of Richfield Does Grdain: Chapter V, Part II, Section 5.19 of the Ordinance Code of the City of Richfield ree~ulating ar_d licensing certain bingo and gambling activities is hereby amended in the following respects: A. By amending Paragraph (2)(a) of Subdivision 9 to read as follcws: "(a) In the~case of bingo, compensation may be paid to an active member of the organization or its auxiliary, or the spouse or surviving spouse of an active member, ccnductinq the bingo occasion. In the case of bingo only, a person not an active member of tze organization or its auxiliary, or the spouse or surviving spouse of an active me.*nber may participate in the conduct of a binero occasion by resolution of a majority of the membership recorded in the approved minutes of the organization. Non-management assistants who are not active members of the organization, or the spouse or surviving spouse of an~active me.*nber may be hired t® assist members in conducting, the bingo occasion. Beginning on August I, 1982, compensation shall not exceed ~~9-gg $20.00 per bingo occasion." ------~ B. By air~ending Paragraph (7) (a) of Subdivision 9 thereof to read as follows: "(7)(.a) Total prices from the operation of paddle wheel:, pull-tabs and t?.pboards awarded in a sinc,le day ~n which they are oaeaated shall rot exceed 51,000.00. Total prizes resulting frcm any single spin of a paddle wheel or from a single seal of a tipboard, each tipboard limited to a single seal, or from a single pull-tab shall not exceed 5150.00. The total prizes awarded for paddle *aheel; pull-tab and tipboard by any organization shall rot exceed ~B9%~~~? $35,000 per organizaticn for any Iicer<se year." 0 C.
