A TRANSITORY ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF HARRIET AVENUE This ordinance was given second reading approval at the October 12, 1981 city council meeting. Publication was withheld pending final approval of adjacent development. Bill 1981-19 TRANSITORY ORDINANCE N0. 16.83 A TRANSITORY ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF HARRIET AVENUE CITY OF RICHFIELD DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. The following portion of Harriet Avenue South within the City of Richfield, County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota, is hereby vacated: That part of Harriet Avenue South, lying between the south right of way line of West 66th Street according to the recorded plat of J. N. Hausers Addition and the north right of way line of West 67th Street according to the recorded plat of Lyndale Shores on Wood Lake." Section 2. This vacation shall be subject to the perpetual easements running in favor of the City of Richfield, Minnegasco, Northern States Power Company, and Northwestern Be11, their successors and assigns, for public utilities, to permit improvements or maintenance of said utilities. Section 3. The mayor and city manger are authorized to take such action as is required to give effect to the vacation of the public right of way as provided in the foregoing Section 1.
