10-10361rRESOLUTION NO. 10361 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF THE DONATION OF A THERMAL IMAGING CAMERA FROM THE FIREMAN'S FUND INSURANCE COMPANY HERITAGE PROGRAM IN ACCORDANCE WITH DONATION AGREEMENTS AND TERMS PRESCRIBED BY THE DONORS WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 465.03 reads in part as follows: Any city, county school district or town may accept a grant or devise of real or personal property and maintain such property for the benefit of its citizens in accordance with the terms prescribed by the donor. Nothing herein shall authorize such acceptance or use for religious or sectarian purposes. Every acceptance shall be by resolution of the council adopted by two-thirds majority of its members, expressing such terms in full; and WHEREAS, the City of Richfield has been awarded the donation as described below, A Thermal Imaging Camera from the Fireman's Fund Insurance Company Heritage Program. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota, as follows: That the City Council of the City of Richfield hereby accepts the donation of a Bullard T-3 Max Thermal Imaging Camera from the Fireman's Fund Insurance Company Heritage Program valued at $8,800 in accordance with the grant agreements and terms prescribed by the donors.
