Familink -Presentation regarding Familink, the organization, their purpose and other good things we should know abouf them. 5. New members? Who do you know that might replace Bruce Anderson who has resigned? We also need a volunteer for Publicity. 6. Communications? Ambassador Cynthy Mandl _ 7. Visiting Costa Rica - next_trip? Cattail Days: details • Setup @ 7:30 -use Cynthy's tent small table -Pam Mortenson chairs - large table -one or two flags -from Heredia Room decorations -from City Garage, Heredia Room, Cynthy & others get statue and .book from City Hall waiting area what else? • Coffee -Cynthy is ordering two cases; we will need to reimburse her Will will make at Farmer's Market Dave. will ask Bill Bullock if we can use coffee makers from Woodale Church Dave will ask KC Hall if we can use coffee urn Raffle -how many bags Sales -how much? Same as last year? • Videos - Do we want to go to the expense of purchasing a converter? need tapes and a small TV • Work Schedule -Need at least two at all times; this will give members an opportunity to look around counts as service hours for those that can use them • End of day - Take down and stow away 4. As many of you know he has had strong ties in Costa Rica and was implemental in establishing the ties of friendship between several Minnesota and Costa Rican communities. The bond between Richfield and Heredia has been particularly strong. We are sending flowers on behalf of the Commission. If any commission members are interested in attending memorial services at Macalester College, Mayor Kirsch, Cynthy Mandl and myself intend to represent the commission and will be carpooling.
